Charges get a home, HERO gets smarter, Arthur gets a voice, and the help centre goes public
Charges now have drafts, a profile and a printable notice, HERO drafts inbox replies and returns property summaries in the chat, Arthur can speak in one of four voices, amenities show up to ten photos residents can star, and every help article, release note and status page is now public at myurbi.co.
Everything in this release
This is a combined release covering charges, HERO, Arthur, amenities and the public site.
Charges became a first class record, with a draft that stays invisible until you release it, a choice between asking somebody to decide and asking them to confirm, a profile of their own, and a printable notice. HERO moved closer to the work, drafting inbox replies you stay in control of and returning property summaries directly in the conversation rather than by an email that often never arrived. Arthur can now speak as one of four voices, in a professional or a friendly style, across chat, phone, email and text. Amenities became visual, carrying a cover photo plus up to nine more that residents can swipe through and star. And the help centre, release notes and service status pages are now public at myurbi.co, so an article link can go straight to a resident or a board member without a login.
New
Charges
Start a charge before you know everything about it
Pick a unit, press Save as draft, and stop there. A draft holds only what you actually typed, and it is invisible to the person being billed: not in their portal, not in their app, not in what they owe, not on a statement or a reminder, and it cannot be pulled onto an invoice. Finish it later and press Release, and the same charge becomes the live one rather than a second copy.
Charges
Ask for a decision, or just ask them to confirm
Every charge you send now says how the person is being asked to answer. Ask them to decide and they can accept or decline, and declining stops it. Ask them to confirm and they simply acknowledge they have seen it, which is the right shape for a fee the rules already require. You pick one every time, nothing picks for you. Confirmations can carry a deadline that bills the charge automatically, and the ones with no deadline gather in their own group where you can chase them or bill them anyway.
Charges
Every charge has a profile, and a printable notice
Charges sit alongside invoices and bonds in the Transaction Center, and clicking one opens its own profile: the details, the response, the invoice it landed on, and a full history. Print Charge Notice produces a one page document with your letterhead, the unit, the line, the tax and the total, ready to hand over or post. A charge already paid, written off or voided prints with a stamp so it can never be mistaken for a demand.
HERO
Draft a reply without leaving the conversation
Open HERO above the inbox composer and ask for help with the conversation in front of you. HERO streams a suggested reply into the composer, where you can edit it, undo the draft for ten seconds, or send it yourself. HERO never sends the message for you.
HERO
Review every action before anything changes
HERO can suggest a task, service ticket, property note, resident notification, or immediate notice as a private card in the thread. Edit the details and audience, then Confirm or Reject. Nothing is created or delivered until you confirm it.
Arthur
Arthur now has multiple voices and personality
Staff can choose Arthur, Theo, Adriana, or Kora for each building, then select a Professional or Friendly delivery style. That choice carries through in app chat, phone calls, emails, and text messages, and staff can listen to a sample before saving.
Amenities
Show an amenity in more than one photo
An amenity now carries a cover photo plus up to nine more. Add them while you create the amenity, or from the new Photos tab afterwards. Residents swipe through them on both the amenity list and the amenity's own page.
Amenities
Residents can star the amenities they use most
In the URBI app, residents can star an amenity and it moves straight to a Favourites group at the top of their list. Favourites are private to each resident, and nobody is notified when one is starred.
Help centre
Every help article and release note is now public at myurbi.co
The help centre lives at myurbi.co/help: searchable, grouped by product area, and open without a login, so you can send an article link straight to a resident or a board member. Press Command K anywhere on the site to search. Release notes moved there too, at myurbi.co/resources/releases, as a dated timeline where each change is marked new, improved, fixed, security or removed.
Status
Check whether URBI is running, without asking anyone
myurbi.co/resources/status shows the live state of HERO, Arthur, URBI Kore, the resident app, the portal, accounting and payments, each with how long it has been that way. Below that you get anything happening right now with a timestamped update trail, any scheduled maintenance, and the last ninety days of resolved incidents. The page rechecks itself every minute, and if it cannot reach the status data it tells you so rather than showing everything green.
Improved
Charges
Change a charge somebody is still looking at
Edit a charge that is out for an answer and the same request updates in place. The person is told it changed, what changed, and when, and their earlier answer no longer applies to the new version. They are never quietly asked a second question, and they are never left agreeing to an amount that has since moved.
HERO
HERO summaries now come back in the chat
Ask HERO what happened at a property between any two dates and the report comes straight back in the conversation. Summaries used to be promised by email and often never arrived. They now appear in HERO chat instead, and you can ask in your own words rather than opening the date picker. The report is shaped around your role: board members get the executive view with metrics, trends and risks, managers get workload, overdue and at risk items, and onsite staff get the priority list and upcoming deadlines. It covers service tickets, tasks and property notes with their comments. If nothing happened in the range it says so plainly and names the property and the dates, and if it cannot build the report you get the real reason instead of a false all clear.
Amenities
Change an amenity's photos after you create it
Previously an amenity's photo was fixed once it existed, so a wrong or dated cover stayed wrong. The Photos tab lets you replace, clear, add, remove and reorder photos at any time. Every change saves on its own, and a change that fails tells you so and puts the photos back the way they were.
