Budget scenarios, shared invoices, and refunds
Model several versions of a budget before you commit to one, split an invoice between residents, and issue refunds with a clear record of what happened.
Everything in this release
New
Budgets
Model budget scenarios
Build named alternatives such as a lean year against a full reserve year, compare them side by side, and activate the one you want. A scenario records the dials you turned, so modelling never writes to a single budget line.
Budgets
Start a budget from last year
Pre-fill every line from what the property actually spent last year, or from the budget the board approved, and URBI remembers which one you chose.
Budgets
See why each number is what it is
Alongside the grid you get a record of the reasoning behind each line, a three year history, and a breakdown of what is driving the fee increase.
Invoicing
Split an invoice between residents
Forward part of an invoice to a co-resident and track what each person still owes, including what has already been settled by someone else.
Reports
Two new registry reports
Chart of Accounts and Outstanding Bonds join the reports hub. Both answer structural questions about how things are set up rather than how much was spent.
Reports
Open the transactions behind a figure
Report and budget numbers now drill through to the journal entries underneath them.
Payments
Refund a payment
Issue a refund against a payment, choose whether it pays out or credits the account balance, and the resident sees the refund in their activity history.
Improved
Reports
Beginning and ending balances on the Trial Balance
The Trial Balance now shows where each account started and finished, not only the movement.
Reports
Choose your own report columns
Pick the columns you want and they stay chosen the next time you open the report.
Budgets
Budget performance by fiscal month
Performance is shown and exported by fiscal month, with month boundaries in the property own timezone.
Invoicing
Percentage tax rates stay percentages
Enter a tax as a percentage on an invoice or expense line and the rate is kept, so reopening, duplicating, or applying a template gives you the percentage back rather than a figure worked backwards from cents.
Expenses
HERO Receipts is now HERO Bills
The name now matches what the feature actually handles.
Banking
Per account control over bank connections
Turn individual accounts on a bank connection on or off, rather than the whole connection.
General ledger
Clearer confidence on imported transactions
A GL import now shows how confident each suggested match is.
Fixed
Charges
Cancelling one charge no longer writes off a whole invoice
Cancelling a single charge on an invoice that still carried other unpaid lines used to write off the entire invoice, dropping the balance by the full amount while the other charges stayed live. It now refuses outright.
Billing
Balances no longer subtract payments against forgiven invoices
Recalculating a billing account subtracted payments made against an invoice that was later voided or written off, landing the balance lower than the truth.
HERO AI
Trial balance and cash flow questions work again
Two HERO accounting questions were failing outright.
Portal
Invoice numbers and payment details show reliably
Portal activity now carries the invoice number and keeps the payment details attached to the right entry.
Everything Running As It Should?
System status shows how every part of URBI is performing right now, updated as things change.
