GL imports you can reverse and reopen, paper bank debit agreements, and approvals in a few swipes

A GL import can now be reversed and reopened without uploading the file again, and account code clashes are caught before anything posts. Paper bank debit agreements can be brought into URBI Kore and collected on the date you choose, and board members and approvers can decide votes, expenses and RFPs from one stack of cards. URBI Kore is also faster on its busiest pages and easier to get around on a phone.

Everything in this release

New

  • Approvals

Vote on board decisions in seconds

Approvals shows every board vote, expense and RFP waiting on you as a stack of cards. Swipe or use the buttons to decide, and undo your last vote if you change your mind.

  • GL import

Reverse and reopen a GL import

Reversing an import now keeps your file and every decision, so you fix what was wrong and commit again without uploading it again.

  • GL import

A reversal report for every reversed import

Each reversal keeps a PDF report, and discarded imports keep their history and reports.

  • Bank debit

Bring paper bank debit agreements into URBI Kore

Declare residents who already signed a paper agreement, choose the first debit date, and URBI Kore bills and collects it on that day.

  • Bank debit

Ready to collect check before each debit

The day before each bank debit, the bank debit widget shows whether everything is ready, with details when something needs attention.

  • Phones

A menu bar built for phones

On a phone, the main menu sits in a bar at the bottom of the screen, and a More sheet reaches Settings, Help, Theme and Sign Out.

Improved

  • Speed

Faster Units, Service Tickets, Documents and Amenity bookings

These pages and their search load much faster, especially for people who manage many properties.

  • Speed

    Faster dashboard and notifications

The communications, packages and amenities widgets, the notification bell and unread badges load faster.

  • Speed

    Drawers that open already loaded

Tickets, tasks, expenses, vendors and units open without a loading state when you hover or tap.

  • Bank debit emails

One setup email for residents on bank debit

Residents paying by bank debit get one email with their amount and monthly debit day instead of monthly billing emails.

  • Bank debit uploads

Simpler fee and bank debit uploads

Upload fees only, bank details only, or both. The payer fills in from the unit's billing account, and you can pick up an unfinished upload where you left off.

  • Bank debit alerts

    Clearer bank debit alerts

Bank debit alerts are written in plain language, once a day per property, and say when URBI is already handling it.

  • Units

Future leases show when they start

The unit's Accounting tab shows the start date of a lease that has not started yet.

  • Contracts

See how many bills a recurring contract will create

Approvers see the full count of bills before approving, and very long contracts show as ongoing.

Fixed

  • GL import

Account code clashes are caught before anything posts

Clashing codes are flagged on the Resolve step, and an import that still clashes at commit posts nothing.

  • GL import

Re-mapped accounts are checked against the account you chose

After you change where an account maps, the code clash check and the confirmation look at the account you picked, not the one first suggested.

  • GL import

Re-staging with the right account column clears the old accounts

Re-staging a file after correcting its account column removes suggestions for accounts that are no longer in the file, and keeps every decision your posted entries still rely on.

  • GL import

Retry reversal names the entry to match again

If an entry a reversal is keeping gets un-matched from its bank line, Retry reversal stops and names it, so you can match it again and finish the reversal.

  • Bills

A bill's amount left to pay follows the books after a correction

When a bill's entry is corrected, the amount left to pay updates to what the books now owe.

  • Bills

Undoing a payment reopens the bill

Undoing a bill payment in the books puts the bill back to open, with the right amount left to pay.

  • Bank reconciliation

Bank matches only pay bills that still owe

Matching a bank line can no longer mark a bill paid when nothing is left to pay on it.

  • Invoice payments

Invoice payments never charge an old amount

If an invoice changes while it is being paid, you are asked to try again instead of being charged the old amount, and a declined saved card says so clearly.

  • Card Autopay

Card Autopay records and charges overdue invoices once

An overdue invoice paid by Card Autopay is recorded against the invoice and charged only once.

  • Card Autopay

Stop autopay takes effect the same day

Stopping autopay after that morning's run cancels that day's card charge.

  • Card Autopay

Invoices a resident asked to pay by hand stay out of autopay

Card and bank debit autopay skip those invoices until they are paid or voided.

  • Payment notices

Clear notices when a card payment fails

Residents are told which invoice failed and why, including when a scheduled run fails before it starts.

  • Bank debit

Upcoming debits match what is collected

A payer's upcoming debits list exactly what the next debit takes, never before the date they were told.

  • Reimbursements

    Reimbursed bills show as paid

A bill paid through a reimbursement clears payables, shows Paid and cannot be paid twice, and cheques follow a corrected reimbursement.

  • Transfers

    More accurate lease transfers

Prorated charges and their tax split exactly, and the true balance moves to the new billing account.

  • Contracts

A renewed contract restarts its approval term

Renewing an open-ended contract starts a fresh 12-month approval term.

  • Events

Late event payments still issue the ticket

An event payment that completes late still issues the ticket, and residents can clear an abandoned payment.

  • Guest parking

Guest parking decisions reach every resident

Approving or rejecting a guest parking request updates every resident's copy, and visitor day passes follow the building's own rule.

  • Emails

    Emails are queued, not dropped

Invites, reminders, bulk messages and late fee notices wait their turn instead of being lost, and late fees run once per property.
