The unit importer loads a whole building into URBI from one CSV file. It creates the units, sets each unit's status, and invites the owners, tenants and property managers you list against them. It is how a new property gets onboarded in minutes instead of one unit at a time.

Where to find it. Settings, then the Units card, then the Import CSV tab inside the Units panel.

Who can use it. Staff, property managers and board members with permission to manage units on that property.

What one file can hold. Up to 2000 rows. One row per person, so a unit with an owner and two tenants takes three rows, all carrying the same unit number.

How it runs. You upload the file, confirm which of your columns means what, review the rows URBI flagged, then press import. The import itself runs in the background and emails you a report when it finishes.

The one thing to know before you start. Importing sends invitation emails to every resident in the file. Read The Pre Import Checklist and What Happens When You Import before you upload a real building.
