Learn how to use real-time comments and @mentions on notes in URBI Kore for team discussions.
Last updated
Comments let your team have real-time discussions directly on a note. Instead of switching to email or a messaging app, keep the conversation in context right where the information lives.
Click on any note to open its detail view.
Click the Comments toggle at the bottom of the note. It shows either "Add Comment" (if there are none yet) or the comment count (e.g., "3 Comments").
A text input appears at the bottom. Type your message. You can use @ to mention team members by name. Only users with management roles (Board, Property Manager, Building Manager) appear in the mention suggestions.
Click the Send button (arrow icon). Your comment appears instantly in the thread.
Comments update in real time. When another team member posts a comment, it appears automatically without needing to refresh. The comment list scrolls to the newest message so you always see the latest update.
When you mention someone with @, they receive a notification about your comment. Mentioned names appear highlighted in a tan/gold color in the comment thread so they are easy to spot.
You can delete your own comments by clicking the trash icon that appears on your messages. A confirmation prompt ensures you do not delete a comment by accident. Only the comment author can delete their own comments.
Each comment shows a relative timestamp that updates naturally:
Just now for comments less than an hour old
2h ago for recent comments
Yesterday for the previous day
3d ago for the past week
Full date and time for anything older
Use comments to discuss next steps on an incident note instead of creating a separate communication thread
@Mention specific people when their input is needed so they get notified right away
Keep comments focused on the note topic. For unrelated topics, create a new note.
