  • Drag and drop attachments
  • Keyboard shortcuts
  • Batch add: log several notes in a row

Adding notes is quicker now. You can drop files straight onto the note, drive the whole form from the keyboard, and log several notes in a row without the window closing between each one.

Who can do this: Any staff member, property manager, or board member who can create notes.

Drag and drop attachments

Instead of clicking Browse, you can now drag files from your computer directly onto the note window and drop them to attach.

  • The same limits apply as the Browse button: up to 10 MB per file, images / PDFs / documents.

  • If a file is too large or the wrong type, it's rejected on its own with a short message. The rest of your files and your note are unaffected, so one bad file never blocks the save.

Keyboard shortcuts

You can fill in and save a note without touching the mouse.

Do this

Mac

Windows

Set the note type (Note / Report / Incident / Action)

⌥ + 1-4

Alt + 1-4

Save the note

⌘ + Enter

Ctrl + Enter

Close the window

Esc

Esc

Inside the text box you can also type:

  • @ to tag a person

  • # to tag a unit

  • ! to tag a property (see the companion guide on tagging and pinning)

Batch add: log several notes in a row

Turn on Batch add to keep the window open after each save. It keeps the property and note type you chose, clears the text and attachments, and lets you log the next note right away. When you're finished, the footer button reads Done; close it and every note you added is saved.

Each note is saved independently as you go, so nothing is lost if you close partway through.
