Overview

Notes in URBI Kore let you capture building context quickly. Whether it is a maintenance observation, an incident report, or an action item, notes keep your team informed. Pinning important notes ensures they stay visible and easy to find.

Note Types

When creating a note, select one of four types to categorize it:

  • Note (purple): General observations, reminders, or building updates

  • Report (blue): Formal reports or documentation

  • Incident (red): Safety issues, emergencies, or problems that need attention

  • Action (green): Action items that need follow-up

Creating a Note

Step 1: Open Notes

Navigate to the Notes section from the sidebar or the operations dashboard.

Step 2: Click the Add Button

Click the + button to open the note creation modal.

Step 3: Select a Type

Choose the note type by clicking one of the four type buttons at the top: Note, Report, Incident, or Action.

Step 4: Write Your Note

Type your content in the text area. You can use:

  • @name to mention a team member (they will receive a notification)

  • #unit to tag a specific unit

Step 5: Submit

Click Create note. Your note appears in the list with a timestamp and your name.

Pinning a Note

Pinned notes are marked with a special indicator and can be filtered to appear at the top of your notes list. To pin a note, open the note detail view and toggle the pin option. Pinned notes are useful for ongoing situations, building rules, or any information that your team references frequently.

Filtering Notes

Use the filter tabs at the top of the notes list to narrow your view:

  • All: Shows every note

  • Notes: Only general notes

  • Reports: Only reports

  • Incidents: Only incidents

  • Actions: Only action items

Use the search bar to find notes by keyword.

Internal Notes

All notes are marked as Internal by default, indicated by a shield icon. Internal notes are only visible to your property management team and are not shared with residents.

Tips

  • Pin notes that contain building procedures or emergency contacts so your team can find them quickly

  • Use the Incident type for anything safety-related so it stands out in red

  • Mention team members with @ to make sure the right people are notified immediately
