How to Open the Shortcuts Reference

You can view the keyboard shortcuts reference at any time by pressing the ? key (Shift + /) from anywhere in URBI. This opens a quick overlay showing the most common shortcuts for your current page. Press Escape to close it.

💡 Quick Tip

Keyboard shortcuts are disabled when you are typing in a text field, search bar, or any input area. This prevents accidental triggers while composing messages or filling in forms.

Command Palette

The Command Palette is the fastest way to do anything in URBI. It gives you access to commands, navigation, entity search, and AI-powered answers in a single interface.

How Shortcuts Work

When are shortcuts active?

Global shortcuts are active whenever you are not typing in a text input, textarea, or rich text editor. The system automatically detects when you are focused on an input field and disables single-key shortcuts to prevent accidental triggers.

What about permissions?

Some shortcuts require specific role permissions. For example, pressing A to book an amenity requires the amenity_bookings_create permission. If you press a shortcut for an action you lack permission for, a helpful notification banner will appear explaining what permission is needed. Reach out to your property administrator to request access.

Page-specific vs. global

Some keys behave differently depending on which page you are on. For example, S creates a service ticket globally, but on the Inbox page it toggles a star on the selected thread. ⌘K opens the Command Palette globally, but on the Tasks or Service Tickets pages it focuses the local search bar instead.

Two-key sequences

On the Tasks and Service Tickets pages, the G key starts a two-key sequence for view switching. Press G, then press the second key (L, C, or K) within one second. If you wait longer than one second, the sequence resets and you need to press G again.
