A plain language guide to how your property takes payments through URBI, what fees apply, and how amenity deposits flow.

URBI uses Stripe Connect. Each property has its own Stripe account. URBI does not hold any property funds. Money flows resident, property Stripe account, property bank account on Stripe's normal payout cycle.
No URBI markup on properties on Kore or Premium. You pay only the standard Stripe transaction fee, 2.9% plus 30 cents, on the initial transaction. No fee on refunds.
Credit cards through URBI. Apple Pay and Google Pay are live in the URBI resident app only. We do NOT support ACH or Interac at this time.
Events use the same flow. Any bookable item in URBI follows the same Stripe Connect, escrow, and logs pattern.
Held in the property's own Stripe account as escrow until the board or management refunds or keeps. Kept deposits pay out to the property bank account on Stripe's normal payout cycle. No additional fee on refunds.
Every booking has a full transaction log inside the amenity booking edit drawer. All payment logs, deposit status, and payment links live in that drawer. Management can pull a payment link from there at any time for the resident on the booking.
Property admins can restrict who sees the accounting side of bookings. Board members or concierge can manage bookings without seeing financials they should not see. Each user's permissions can be tuned individually.
Right away. Stripe verifies your business documents and bank account details in the background, which takes 3 to 5 business days. Your booking and payment experience is live before that finishes.
Milan on the URBI team helps any property set up Stripe end to end. Account creation, bank connection, document submission, payout schedule. Reach him through your URBI contact.
URBI Accounting launches in about 2 months. It will add a transactional view of every deposit, refund, and payout across the property so reconciliation is one click.
