Arthur can speak in one of four voices, in either a professional or a friendly style. The choice is made per building, so two properties you manage can sound quite different, and it carries through every channel Arthur uses.

Where the setting lives

Open Property Settings for the building you want to change, and find the Arthur persona card. You need permission to configure Arthur at that property. If you do not have it, the card will not accept a change.

The four voices

VoiceCharacter
ArthurThe original, warm and dependable
TheoApproachable and easygoing
AdrianaClear, professional, and steady
KoraBright and personable

Each voice also carries an accent, shown as a small flag beside the name, so you can tell at a glance how it will sound to a resident.

The two delivery styles

Professional uses formal phrasing, no filler words, and gets straight to the point.

Friendly uses warmer phrasing with brief pleasantries, while staying concise.

A new building starts on Arthur with the friendly style, which is exactly how Arthur sounded before this setting existed. If you never open the card, nothing about your building changes.

Listen before you save

Each voice and style pairing has its own sample. Press play to hear it, and the words being spoken appear on screen at the same time, so what you read is what you hear. Nothing is saved by listening.

The listen option only appears for a building that has Arthur's phone channel set up and a voice assigned. If you do not see it, the voice is not available for that property yet, and the written channels below still work normally.

Where the choice applies

Your selection carries through all of the ways Arthur speaks to residents:

  1. In app chat

  2. Phone calls

  3. Emails

  4. Text messages

Set it once for the building, and every channel follows.

Saving and changing your mind

The card only offers to save once you have actually changed something, and you can discard an unsaved change to go back to the current setting. Changing the voice or the style later is safe at any time, and it affects future conversations rather than rewriting past ones.
