Chief of Staff weekday briefings are now opt-in. How to turn the briefing on or off in Personal Settings, and what happened if yours was paused.
Last updated
Chief of Staff is your weekday email briefing: a short, AI-assembled summary of what needs your attention across your properties.
Chief of Staff briefings are now opt-in. They are no longer turned on automatically for every account. If you want to receive the weekday briefing, you turn it on yourself in a few seconds.
If you were already receiving briefings and use URBI regularly, nothing changes: you keep getting them. If your briefing was paused because your account had been quiet for a while, you received a one-time email letting you know, and you can turn it back on anytime using the steps below.
Open URBI and go to Personal Settings.
Open Preferences.
Switch Chief of Staff on.
That is it. Your next weekday briefing will arrive at around 8am in your property's local time.
Follow the same steps and switch Chief of Staff off. You can turn it on or off whenever you like. You can also use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any briefing email.
I stopped getting briefings. Why? To keep inboxes quiet, briefings were paused for accounts that had not been active recently. Turning Chief of Staff on in Personal Settings starts them again.
Will turning it on lose any of my data? No. Chief of Staff assembles its briefing fresh each weekday from your current properties. There is nothing to lose or restore.
Who can use Chief of Staff? Staff, board members, and property managers. Chief of Staff briefings are not sent to residents.
