Follow these steps to narrow the Units list using the search bar's filter chips.
- Go to Units and click into the search bar above the unit cards.
- Type a plain word to search as before, or start typing a filter name, like balance, to jump straight into that filter's values.
- Choose a value. It appears as a colored chip in the bar, for example "Balance state: Overdue". The chip takes the color of its group, so money and accounting filters read green, residents blue, registrations violet, activity amber, and unit details teal.
- Add as many chips as you need. They all narrow the list together, along with any plain text you typed.
- For a date filter, either type an exact date or pick one of the quick presets: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, This month or Last month.
- Watch the count above the list, it updates as soon as a chip is added or removed, so you always know how many units match.
- To remove one filter, click the small × on its chip. To clear every filter and the typed text at once, click the × at the end of the bar.

2 of 6 units match
Two shortcuts. Type # and the bar goes straight to unit numbers. Type @ and it goes straight to people, which is the quickest way to find a unit when you only know who lives in it.
Everything above works the same on a phone. Open Units in the mobile view and the bar, the filters and the chips are the same.
