Build Custom Groups by Managing User Access and Units

Open Property Settings
When you are anywhere on the page for creating custom groups, go into property settings.

Navigate to Manage Groups
Once you go into property settings, you can then go to manage groups under communication. And you can create as many new groups as you like. So if you'd like to create a group called

Create Tower A Group
Tower A, you can give a description. This is for Tower A. OK.

Select User Types
Click the Select user types option to specify which users will have access to the group.

Set User Access Types
And you can add the type of user you want to have access to this. So if you want all the occupant types to see this article if it's been sent out, then you can do it that way. Or you can just distill it down to, for example, just off-sites and residents only.

Review Group Details
Review the group details including name, description, user types, and units to ensure accuracy before proceeding.

Select Units for Group
Click the Select units option to choose which units will be included in the custom group.

Choose Specific Units
Then you can select all the units. Or you can simply start connecting the units that you want.

Manage Multiple Towers
If you have multiple towers, you might have the name already in it. So you might have tower, tower A, and then you can start selecting all of them. But in this case, we just have units. So I'm

Add Units to Group
Just going to add these three units into the custom group.

Save Custom Group
And then you press save. And that's it. Easy.
