Use this guide when you want to send the same news post to two or more of your properties in one action.

Steps

1. Open the news drawer.

In the URBI dashboard, go to News in the left sidebar and click the + button (or "Create post").

2. Select your properties.

In the Properties field at the top of the drawer, you have two options:

  • Select individual properties: Click the field and choose each property you want to include. Selected properties appear as tags you can remove individually.

  • Use "All my properties": Click the All my properties toggle to include every property you have news-create access to in one click. This toggle and individual selections are mutually exclusive — enabling one clears the other.

3. Write your post.

Fill in the title, body, level, and (optionally) an image. This content is shared across all selected properties — every property receives the same text and image.

Note: When two or more properties are selected, the audience is automatically set to all occupants for every property. The custom audience picker (specific unit groups) is only available when posting to a single property.

4. Set the schedule (optional).

If you want to schedule the post, choose a date and time. The schedule label reads "shown in each property's local time" — this means the wall-clock time you pick (for example, 9:00 AM) will be the delivery time in each property's own timezone. A property in Calgary will receive the post at 9:00 AM Calgary time; a property in Toronto will receive it at 9:00 AM Toronto time.

If you leave the schedule blank, the post publishes immediately for every property.

5. Publish.

Click Publish (or Schedule if you set a date). URBI creates one news entry per selected property. Each property's residents receive their own push notification and email.

Back on the News list, your post appears as a single entry with a badge showing how many properties it covers (for example, 3 properties).
