Use Kore's scan flow on any device to check in attendees by QR code or PIN, including how to handle waiver pending tickets.

Kore's scan flow works on any device with a camera, a phone held at the door or a laptop at a check in desk. Staff each get their own PIN so you can track who scanned what.
Open the event and go to the Team tab.
Find the staff member you want to send a PIN to and click Send PIN. The staff member receives an email with their unique PIN and a direct link to the scan page.
Open the scan page link from the PIN email, or navigate to the event and click Scan.
Allow camera access when prompted. The rear camera activates on mobile and a webcam is used on desktop.
Hold the resident's ticket QR code up to the camera, or tap Enter PIN manually and type the code from their ticket.
A green confirmation screen means the ticket is valid and the resident is checked in.
A red screen means the ticket is already used, invalid, or cancelled.
If the ticket shows Waiver pending, a warning modal appears before check in completes. You have two options:
Send waiver link. Kore sends the resident an email with a link to sign the waiver on the spot. Check them in after they sign.
Bypass with reason. Enter a short reason (for example, resident signed paper copy on site) and confirm. The bypass is logged to the event activity log with your name, timestamp, and reason for audit purposes.
