The Send Notification button in the event edit drawer opens a single modal where you can choose your audience and send an update. This replaces the two separate notification buttons from the previous version.

When to use this

Use Send Notification to: - Remind attendees about an upcoming event. - Share an update or change not captured by the automatic policy-change notice. - Reach all community members about an open event.

Steps

  1. Go to Bookings → Events and open the event.

  2. In the event edit drawer, click Send Notification near the top-right of the drawer header.

  3. The Send Notification modal opens. At the top of the modal, a context strip shows: - Last sent: the date and time the most recent notification was sent for this event (or "Never sent" if none has been sent yet). - Auto-send on create: whether a notification was sent automatically when the event was published.

  4. Under Audience, choose who receives the notification: - Ticket holders — sends only to residents who have confirmed RSVPs or are on the waitlist. - All community members — sends to all residents in the property.

  5. Click Send Notification. The notification is sent immediately.

Notes

  • For Maintenance events, the Ticket holders audience option is not shown — maintenance events have no ticket holders.

  • Sending a notification does not change the event's status or any ticket records.

  • The "last sent" timestamp updates each time a notification is successfully dispatched from this modal.
