Restrict events to specific custom groups. Residents access via email + one-time code with no account login required.

Private events can be restricted to specific custom groups. Residents who are members of those groups can access the public event page by verifying their identity with a one-time code — no URBI account login required.
When creating or editing an event, go to the Groups step (in the Create wizard) or the Groups tab (in the edit drawer).
Select one or more custom groups. Only residents whose unit belongs to a selected group will be able to access the event.
Selecting All removes individual group restrictions and makes the event open to the full community.
Publish the event.
Residents receive a link to the event's public page (for example, shared via announcement or push notification). When they open the link:
The event page loads showing basic event details.
If the event is group-restricted and the resident is not yet verified, a form appears asking for their email address.
The resident enters their email and clicks Send Code.
A 6-digit one-time code is sent to that email address.
The resident enters the 6-digit code in the next screen and clicks Verify.
If their email matches a unit in an authorized group, access is granted. The event page unlocks and they can proceed to RSVP or checkout.
If their email is not found in an authorized group, an Access Denied screen appears explaining that they are not on the guest list. They are advised to contact the property manager.
The verified session lasts 4 hours. After that, the resident must verify again.
Each email address is allowed a limited number of OTP attempts. If all attempts are used, a new code must be requested.
Residents can sign out of their verified session from the event page at any time.
The secure link can be shared publicly — only residents whose email matches an authorized group can complete verification.
