Take ownership of an Arthur case. Arthur stops automated follow-ups and creates a task for you with a handoff summary.
Last updated
When you take over a case, Arthur steps aside and creates a task for you containing a summary of everything that's happened and what Arthur recommends doing next. Arthur will no longer send automated follow-ups on that case.
Open the Arthur page from the left sidebar and click the Follow-ups tab.
Find the case you want to take over. You can filter by State (e.g., Escalated, Needs Attention) or Urgency to narrow the list. Click the case row to open it.
In the case drawer, review the timeline to see what Arthur has done so far — each step shows who acted, what happened, and Arthur's reasoning at that point.
Click Take Over in the controls panel on the right side of the drawer.
Arthur generates a handoff summary — a plain-language recap of what's happened, what's pending, and what Arthur recommends. Review the summary. You can edit it before confirming.
Optionally, add sub-tasks or a collaborator to the task Arthur will create for you.
Click Confirm Take Over. Arthur exits the case. A new task is created in your name with the handoff summary as its description.
Note: Board members can view cases and timelines but cannot take over or adjust cases — those actions are available to staff and property managers only.
