What changed: All amenity booking notification emails now share one branded design, bookings with an outstanding balance get an amber "Payment Required" email instead of appearing confirmed before funds settle, and email labels follow your property's configured terminology. The emails send automatically, no settings changed, and no action is required from staff or PMs.

Why do some deposit and "you've been added" emails look different now? These emails were previously sent as plain text. They have been updated to use the same branded template as all other amenity emails, so residents receive a consistent experience regardless of which notification they receive.

What does the amber "Payment Required" email mean for a resident? It means their booking is reserved but a balance (such as a deposit or usage fee) has not yet been collected. The booking is not fully confirmed until payment is received, at which point the resident will receive a separate green "Confirmed" email. Staff can check the booking status in the amenity management panel at any time.

Do residents need to do anything when they receive a "Payment Required" email? That depends on your property's payment flow. If payment is collected automatically (e.g. via Stripe), residents typically just need to ensure their payment method is valid. If payment is collected manually or at the front desk, staff should follow up as they normally would — the email itself does not include a payment link unless your property has that flow configured.

Why do some emails use different words (e.g. "Facility" instead of "Amenity")? Email labels now reflect your property's configured terminology. If your building is set up as an Education property, residents will see "Facility" and "Classroom" rather than "Amenity" and "Unit". This is automatic — no configuration changes are needed.

Other labels follow the same vocabulary, for example "property manager" becomes "school administrator" on an Education property.
