Staff guide to allowing an amenity to be booked across multiple days and adding a cooldown buffer after each booking for cleaning or inspection.
Last updated
This guide shows staff how to allow an amenity to be booked across multiple days, and how to add a cooldown period after each booking so staff have time to clean or inspect the space before the next reservation.
Who can use it: Staff or PMs with amenity edit permission on the property.
Requires: KORE or PREMIUM property tier. On a BASIC property, these settings are visible but locked, with a note to upgrade.
Open the amenity. From the Amenities panel, click the amenity you want to configure to open its edit drawer.
Go to the Schedule tab. Scroll to the Multi-day & service buffer card, below the existing "Max hours per booking" field.
Turn on "Allow multi-day bookings." Once enabled, residents can book a date range instead of a single time slot.
Set the maximum length using the existing "Max hours per booking" field. Multi-day amenities reuse this field: it works in 24-hour blocks. For example, a value of 48 allows up to 2 days, and 72 allows up to 3 days. There is no separate "nights" field.
Set the after-service buffer. In the After-service buffer (hours) field, enter how many hours must pass after a booking ends before the next booking can start. This time is automatically blocked off on the calendar.
Save your changes.
Residents pick a start and end date on a calendar. Fully unavailable days are greyed out.
For hotel-style amenities (booked by check-in/check-out time), the check-in and check-out times are fixed by the amenity; residents pick the date range only.
The price shown is calculated in whole days. A booking that runs slightly over a day boundary (for example, 42 hours) is billed as a full 2 days, never a partial day.
If a resident tries to book a range that overlaps another booking (including another booking's after-service buffer), they see a clear message that the dates aren't available. Residents can't override this.
Staff booking the same amenity get the same date-range picker and the same hour limit, but staff can override a buffer conflict if needed (see the "Booking with Overrides" article for details). Staff cannot override the maximum booking length; a range that's too long is blocked for everyone.
Existing multi-day bookings are never cancelled or invalidated if your property drops below KORE tier. They continue to be honored, editable, and billed normally. Only new multi-day bookings are blocked until the property is back on KORE or PREMIUM.
