Last updated
Every task in URBI Kore can have a primary assignee and additional collaborators. Assigning the right people ensures work gets done and the team stays in the loop.
Primary Assignee: The single person responsible for completing the task. Their avatar appears on the task card.
Collaborators (Followers): Team members who receive notifications about task updates but are not the primary owner.
In the creation modal, use the Assignee dropdown to search and select a team member.
Type a:name in the title field to quickly assign someone.
Type @name in the title to add someone as a collaborator.
Click any task to open the detail drawer.
In the sidebar, locate the Assignee field.
Click the dropdown and search. The change saves automatically.
In the task detail drawer sidebar, find the Collaborators section and click Add member. Search and select team members. Remove collaborators by clicking the delete icon next to their name.
Each subtask can have its own assignee. Click the avatar dropdown next to any subtask to assign a specific person. This is perfect for tasks where multiple people handle different parts.
When you toggle a task to Private, you are automatically set as the assignee and the task is only visible to you.
Always assign a primary person so tasks do not get lost
Add collaborators when others need to stay informed
Use subtask assignees to split work across team members
Collaborators get notified on comments, status changes, and completion
