An RFP decision lets the board compare and vote on several vendors for the same piece of work, rather than a single approve or reject choice.

  1. RFPs start from the relevant work order, not from the Board Decisions page directly. Open the work order, add the vendors under consideration along with their price estimates, and the RFP decision is created for you.
  2. Board members vote on each vendor separately, approve or reject, either from the work order or by opening the decision from Board Decisions and voting there.
  3. The Board Decisions list shows a card for the RFP with each vendor's name, price, and a small bar showing how the votes are trending.

An RFP decision on the list.

Sunview Roofing$14,200.00
Northgate Contracting$16,750.00
  1. Once a vendor reaches a majority of approve votes, whoever is finalizing the decision selects that vendor and finalizes it. The winning vendor is marked as selected, and the other vendors are recorded as not selected.

A finalized RFP, with the winning vendor marked.
