  • Cancelled
  • The short version
  • Maintenance and Inactive

Each closure on the Asset Impact timeline carries a status. Only two of them stop a booking.

Pending

Created but not confirmed. Blocks nothing. The amenity is fully bookable during the window, by residents and by staff. A closure left here is a closure that is not happening.

Confirmed

Confirmed and scheduled. Blocks bookings in its window. This is what a closure should look like once you have finished with it.

Active

Confirmed and currently in effect, meaning the window is now. Blocks bookings.

Completed

The window has passed and the closure is over. The amenity is bookable again.

Cancelled

The closure was called off. It blocks nothing, and the amenity is bookable through what would have been the window.

The short version

Confirmed and Active are real. Pending is an intention. Completed and Cancelled are history. If you check one thing before a job starts, check that the closure is not sitting at Pending.

Maintenance and Inactive

Separate from the status, each closure sets what the amenity becomes during the window, either Maintenance or Inactive. This describes the reason the amenity is unavailable rather than whether the closure is in force. A Pending closure targeting Maintenance still blocks nothing.
