Some amenities collect their refundable deposit closer to your booking date instead of when you book. This guide explains what you'll see and how to pay early if you'd rather not wait.
Who this applies to: Residents booking an amenity where your property has turned on deferred deposit collection. You don't need to do anything differently when booking; this only affects when the deposit is charged.
When you book, your fee (if any) is charged right away and your spot is confirmed immediately. The deposit itself isn't charged yet. Your confirmation screen shows a "Deposit due" note with the date it will be collected, plus a Pay deposit early button if you'd rather take care of it now.
Open your booking. From your bookings list, find the upcoming booking. It shows a "Deposit due in X days" tag.
Tap the booking to open its details.
Tap "Pay deposit early." You'll see the deposit amount in the button, for example "Pay deposit early ($250)."
Complete the payment. Enter your payment details as you would for any other charge. Once it's confirmed, your booking updates to show the deposit as paid.
If you don't pay early, you'll automatically receive an email and a push notification with a secure payment link a set number of hours before your booking starts. This is set by your property; the notice usually arrives one to two days ahead. If it isn't paid right away, you'll get a daily reminder until your booking starts.
Your property has chosen to collect the refundable deposit closer to your booking date rather than all at once. Any required booking fee is still charged the moment you book, exactly as before. Only the deposit timing has changed.
