Use Events to review an event's details and reserve free tickets or buy paid tickets for your unit.

Who this is for: residents using the Resident App. Events appear only when your building has scheduled them.

Open an event

Open Events in the app and tap an event to see its details. The event page shows its date, time, admission, location, description, and any policy.

If the location is tappable, you can tap it to open directions. A maintenance announcement may appear in Events too. Those announcements say no registration is required.

Select tickets

For an event with ticket choices, use the + and - controls beside each ticket type. The screen shows each ticket's price or Free, and may show Sold Out or the number left.

Some events use a single ticket quantity control instead. You cannot select more tickets than your unit is allowed or than are available.

Reserve a free event

After choosing tickets, tap Reserve Tickets. If tickets are available, the app opens My Tickets with your reservation.

If the event is full and has a waitlist, the app can add you to the waitlist and tells you that it will notify you if a spot opens up. For limited availability, the app may offer the available tickets now or the waitlist for all selected tickets.

Pay for a paid event

After choosing paid tickets, tap Checkout. The Event Checkout page shows an Order Summary, your Payment Method, and the total.

  • Select a saved card, or tap Add Credit Card to add one.
  • On supported phones, Apple Pay or Google Pay may be available as a payment method.
  • Tap Pay [amount] to complete payment.

After payment is confirmed, the app opens My Tickets. If payment succeeds but the tickets are still being registered, it says Payment Received and tells you that your tickets will appear shortly.

Manage your event tickets

In My Tickets, you can review the event, open directions, add it to your calendar, and download a receipt for paid tickets. You may also see an option to cancel, depending on the ticket status.

Save your tickets to your phone's wallet

From the same screen you can add your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Each ticket becomes its own pass with its own barcode, so a group booking scans in one guest at a time. On an order with several tickets you choose whether to save the whole order or just one of them.

The ticket link in your email does the same thing in your phone's browser, so this works whether or not you have the app.

See Adding your event tickets to your phone for the full walkthrough.
