When a payment or bank connection cannot continue, the portal shows a message explaining what happened and what to do next. The way you pay has not changed, and there are no new steps or screens.
Online payments may not be switched on for your building yet. This does not mean you did anything wrong. Contact your property contact to ask which payment options are available to you.
This means there is a temporary problem with the service. It does not mean your building is set up incorrectly. Wait a while, then try again.
If your portal offers automatic bank payments, they require a chequing account at a Canadian bank. A savings account or an account at a bank outside Canada cannot be used. Choose a Canadian chequing account, then try again.
For your security, your sign-in expires after a period of time. Sign in again, return to the payment or bank connection, and try again.
Your bank provider may not be able to complete the connection at that moment. Try again. If the same message appears, wait a while before trying once more.
The portal will stop waiting and show a message when it cannot continue. Follow the instruction in that message. If it says the problem is temporary, wait and try again later.
