If you've already paid some of an invoice, paying the rest only charges you the remaining balance, never the full original amount again. Tax is already included in that remaining amount, so what you see is what you pay.
Who this applies to: anyone with a partially paid invoice, whether the earlier payment was made by you, a co-payer, or applied by staff.
Say an invoice is $500 total. If $200 of that has already been paid, paying "the rest" charges you $300, not $500. You'll always see the actual remaining amount on the payment screen before you confirm, so there's no guesswork.
Invoices can be paid down in stages, for example a partial payment now and the remainder later, or one part covered by a co-payer and the rest by you. Whatever has already been settled is subtracted before you're charged, so you're never asked to pay for something twice.
If the remaining amount shown doesn't match what you expect, don't complete the payment. Check the invoice's payment history first (it lists every amount already applied), and if it still looks off, reach out to your property's staff before paying.
