Autopay lets you save a credit card in the resident portal so your payments are charged automatically, without you having to log in and pay each time something is due. This article walks you through turning it on.
Note: the portal currently supports autopay with a credit card only. Automatic bank (ACH) payments are not offered in the portal at this time.

If your card is declined, or an extra verification step with your bank isn't completed, you'll see an inline message explaining what happened. No autopay is created in this case, and the charge day and cap you already chose are kept so you can simply try again with a different card.
There is currently no in-place "edit" for an active autopay enrollment. If you want to change your card, charge day, or spending cap, cancel your current autopay from the Profile tab (a Cancel button appears next to your active autopay row) and set it up again with the new details.
To turn autopay off entirely, click Cancel on your active autopay row. Once cancelled, no further automatic charges will be made, and you'll need to pay any future balances manually until you set up autopay again.
Does setting up autopay charge my card right away? No. Adding your card during setup only verifies and saves it. No payment is taken until your next scheduled charge day.
Can I use a debit card? Any card supported by our payment processor, Stripe, can be used, subject to your card issuer's own rules.
What if I don't set a maximum charge per month? Leaving the cap blank means the full amount due is charged automatically each month, with the processing fee added on top.
What happens if my card is declined? No autopay enrollment is created. You'll see an error message and a Retry option, and your charge day and cap selections are kept so you don't have to re-enter them.
Can I have more than one autopay enrollment on the same home/unit account? No, only one active autopay enrollment is shown per account at a time.
Is my card information stored by URBI? No. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. URBI never stores your card number.
If setup stops and the portal says the service is temporarily unavailable or your sign-in expired, the message tells you what to do next. See Payment and bank connection help for help with these messages and with bank connection problems.
