Some owners and residents are associated with more than one home, sometimes at the same property, sometimes across different properties. This article explains how the portal handles that, including the home selector that lets you switch your view.

Note: your property may use a different word than "home" (for example, "unit," "suite," or another term specific to your community). This article uses "home" generally; the portal itself will show the label your property uses.

If you only have one home

If your account is only associated with a single home, you will not see a home selector at all. Your account summary simply shows that home's details directly, and there is nothing to switch between.

If you have more than one home

If you are associated with more than one home, whether as an owner, a resident, or both, and whether at one property or across several, you will see a home selector inside your account summary, right above the quick-stat chips.

How it works

  • Tap the selector to open a list of your homes. Each row is labeled with the property name and the home's number or name, so it is easy to tell homes apart even across different properties.

  • All homes is always the first option and is selected by default. In this view, your account summary, Home tab, Billing tab, and News tab all show combined information across every home you have.

  • Choosing a specific home narrows the same tabs to that home only: its balance, its charges, its invoices, and its news.

  • Switching back to All homes restores the combined view.

The selector works the same way on mobile, just presented as a sheet that slides up from the bottom of the screen instead of a dropdown.

How balances are shown

  • When All homes is selected, the balance and stats you see are the total across every home on your account.

  • When you pick a specific home, everything narrows to that home's own numbers.

  • Each home's row in the selector shows its own open balance, so you can compare at a glance before you even switch.

A home you no longer occupy

If you have moved out of a home, sold it, or your association with it has otherwise ended, that home will generally no longer appear as a choice in the selector, since there is nothing left for you to manage there day to day.

However, if you still owe a balance on that home, that balance is not dropped. It continues to be included in your All homes total, and it stays payable, so nothing you owe silently disappears just because the home itself is no longer selectable.

If you believe you are still being shown, or still owe, a balance for a home you should no longer be connected to, contact your property manager, since that association is controlled on their end.

What this means for you

  • If you manage multiple homes, use the selector to focus on one at a time when you need to review or pay something specific.

  • Use All homes for a quick combined check of everything you owe.

  • A home dropping out of the selector list doesn't mean the balance is gone. If you owed something there, it is still counted and still payable.

  • Home labels always show the property name alongside the home identifier, so you can tell your homes apart even if they are at different properties.

FAQ

Q: I have two homes, but I don't see a selector. Why not? A: The selector only appears once you have more than one home associated with your account. If you believe you should have access to a second home and don't see it, contact your property manager.

Q: I switched to a specific home and it shows no invoices or payments. Is that a bug? A: Not necessarily. A home can genuinely have nothing open to show, for example, if everything is paid up or nothing has been billed yet. The portal will let you know there is nothing there rather than showing a blank page.

Q: Why did a home disappear from my selector? A: This usually means your association with that home has ended (a move-out, a sale, or a similar change made by your property). See "What Happens During an Ownership or Occupancy Transfer" for more on that process.

Q: If a home disappears from the selector, do I still have to pay what I owe there? A: Yes. Any balance still owed on that home stays payable and is still included in your combined "All homes" total, even though the home is no longer individually selectable.

Q: Can I see homes I have at a completely different property in the same selector? A: Yes. If your account is associated with homes at more than one property, they all appear together in the same selector, each labeled with its own property name.
