  • Step 2: Rescue our email from the Spam folder
  • Step 3: Add us to your Trusted Addresses (best step)
  • Step 4: Add us to your Address Book
  • Still not seeing our emails?

If your email address ends in @shaw.ca and you are not seeing emails from your building, this guide will fix it. The steps below tell Shaw that our emails are safe so they come straight to your inbox.

First, some good news. For a while, Shaw was blocking our emails on their own end for no good reason. We contacted Shaw directly and they have now unblocked us, so our emails should be arriving normally again. The steps below add extra protection so they stay in your inbox.

You read Shaw email in a web browser at the Shaw website. Take your time and do one step at a time.

Step 1: Sign in to Shaw Webmail

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox).

  2. Go to webmail.shaw.ca.

  3. Type your Shaw email address and password, then click Sign In.

Step 2: Rescue our email from the Spam folder

  1. Look down the left side of the screen for a list of folders like Inbox, Sent, Spam.

  2. Click the Spam folder.

  3. Find any email from your building or from an address ending in @myurbi.co.

  4. Click once on that email to select it.

  5. Along the top, click the Not Spam button.

The email moves to your inbox. This is an important step.

Step 3: Add us to your Trusted Addresses (best step)

This tells Shaw to always let our emails through.

  1. At the top of your inbox, click the word Preferences.

  2. On the left side menu, click Trusted Addresses.

  3. In the box under Trusted Addresses / Domains, type myurbi.co.

  4. Click Add, then click Save (usually at the top or bottom of the page).

Step 4: Add us to your Address Book

  1. At the top of the screen, click the Address Book tab.

  2. Click New Contact (or the plus sign).

  3. In the email box, type an address from us that ends in @myurbi.co, then click Save.

Once we are in your address book and trusted addresses, Shaw treats us as a safe sender.

Still not seeing our emails?

Tell your property manager the exact email address you are checking, and we will look it up on our side and tell you what is happening.
