The URBI app shows only the tabs and quick actions available to you at your current building. This article explains why a tab, the gold plus button, or one of its choices may be missing.
Who this is for: Residents signed in to the URBI app. If you have more than one property or unit in URBI, first make sure you have selected the one you want to use.
Home, Messages, and Profile are always in the bottom menu.
Two tabs depend on what your building offers:
If one of these tabs is missing, it does not mean that something is wrong with your phone or account. Not every building offers every URBI feature.
The round gold plus button appears only when the app has at least one quick action available to you. If there is nothing available to start, the button is hidden and the bottom menu recentres itself.
The actions available from this button are New message, New booking, and New parking. You may see one, two, or all three.
New message appears when there is someone available for you to message through your current building.
After the app finishes checking, the choice is hidden if there is nobody available. Your current residency must also be active, not archived.
New booking appears only when both of these are true:
An amenity is not offered for booking when it is:
If no amenity qualifies, the app hides New booking instead of letting you start a booking that cannot be completed.
New parking appears only when your building offers parking through the URBI app.
Right after you open the app, or when your connection is poor, the bottom menu may briefly show only Home, Messages, and Profile. The app waits until it knows what your building offers before adding Amenities or Market.
Quick actions can also update while the app checks who and what is available to you. Give the app a moment to finish loading before checking again.
Sometimes the whole bottom menu is hidden on purpose. This keeps it from covering what you are doing.
The menu is hidden:
Close the panel, cart, or detail screen to return to the main navigation.
If you have waited for the app to load and the feature is still missing, contact your property manager. Your building decides which features it offers in URBI, and residents cannot turn these features on themselves.
