How to activate visitor parking

Use Parking to activate a temporary parking registration for a license plate. This is useful when a visitor needs to park at your building.

Who this is for: residents using the URBI app at a building that offers Parking through URBI. You need the vehicle's license plate, or a vehicle already saved for your unit when short term parking is available.

Open Parking

Open Parking from the URBI app. If you do not see Parking, your building does not offer this service through the app.

Choose the parking type

The screen shows the maximum time allowed for the current parking option.

• For regular parking, enter the vehicle's License Plate. You may see plates you used before as suggestions.
• Some buildings also show Activate short term parking. Turn it on, then tap a vehicle saved for your unit.
• If the app says a plate already has an active parking registration, use a different plate or wait until the existing registration ends or is cancelled.
• Regular parking may show how many passes you have used this month. If you have reached the limit, the slider says No More Passes.

Activate the registration

Slide the control at the bottom from left to right until it completes. It reads Slide to Activate.

You will see Parking Activated with the license plate when the registration is active. The countdown then shows Time Remaining.

End parking early

Open the active parking registration and slide Slide to Cancel. This ends the registration early.

The active screen also shows the license plate, the remaining time, and its status.
