Direct Deposit payouts are available on Kore and Premium plans for Canadian properties approved by National Bank. Payouts only appears in Bank & payments once the property has a National Bank bank account connected there.
- Go to Property Settings, then open the Accounting tab.
- Locate the Bank & payments card and click Manage.
- Choose the Payouts section (use the Connection / Collections / Payouts switch in the drawer header).
- Pick the property's National Bank account from the list.
- Enter the Issuer number National Bank assigned this property for payout files. It is a separate 10-digit number from the one used for Collections, and URBI never prefills it - enter the one National Bank gave you for payouts.
- Enter Legal name at National Bank, exactly as registered with the bank.
- Operation code is fixed at 450, the only code National Bank accepts for payout files, so there is nothing to choose.
- Optionally set a Payout file limit: the most one payout file can send in total. A payout that would push a file over the limit is held until someone else with the payments permission releases it. Leave it blank for no limit.
The Payouts originator tab holds the account, issuer number, legal name and file limit.

- Save the details. On the Test connectivity tab, run the connectivity test, which sends a real one-cent payout to the property's own account under the new issuer number.
- Confirm that National Bank has approved the property for production payout files, using the checkbox on that tab.
- Once every check on the list passes, click Confirm and turn on payouts. Turning payouts off later holds new payouts; it does not send them through another payment route.
The activation checklist and switch appear once the connectivity test has passed.

To pay a person, request their bank details from the bill, reimbursement, or refund. The secure link lets the payee enter the details themselves. Staff can instead enter details from a void cheque when necessary. URBI shows staff only a status and the last four digits.
