The QuickBooks Online integration (PREMIUM plan) has three ways in: the command palette, the property settings Accounting section, and a dedicated Checkpoint Report for period tie-out. This article is a map of all three, so you're never hunting for the right screen.
Who can do this: Any staff member, property manager, or board member with access to the property's accounting settings.
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in URBI and type "quickbooks" or "qbo" to reach any of these three:
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open QuickBooks sync console | Jumps straight into the sync console for the current property - the same screen you'd reach by clicking Manage on the QuickBooks card in settings. Use this for retrying failed syncs, resolving drift, and reviewing account mapping. |
| QuickBooks Online | Navigates to the property's Accounting settings section, where the QuickBooks connection card lives. |
| QuickBooks Checkpoint Report | Jumps directly to the period tie-out and reconciliation report comparing your books to QuickBooks. |
All three also match on related keywords - "sync," "console," "retry," "drift," "integration," "checkpoint," "tie-out," and "reconciliation" will all surface the relevant entry.
Property Settings → Accounting section.
The QuickBooks card here is your at-a-glance connection status and your entry point into everything else:
Clicking Manage (or Connect, to start the setup flow) opens the sync console.
Whether you get there from the command palette or the Manage button on the card, you land in the same place: the QuickBooks sync console, opened as a drawer over the Accounting settings page. It has two tabs:
The QuickBooks Checkpoint Report shows a per-period tie-out between your URBI books and QuickBooks - counts and account-by-account matched/mismatched/unmapped/QuickBooks-only status, a Fresh/Stale badge, and a Run/Re-run reconciliation action.
This report is not listed as a tile in the main Reports hub - it's reachable only two ways:
If you're browsing the Reports hub looking for it among the other report tiles, you won't find it there - go through the command palette or the sync console link instead.
