How to filter General Ledger entries

Follow these steps to narrow down the journal entries shown on the General Ledger page.
- Go to Accounting → General Ledger.
- Click Filters to open the filter panel.
Filter by date
- In the Date Range section, choose a preset:
- All dates (the default), shows every entry.
- Today, Month to date, This month, Last month, Quarter to date, This quarter, Last quarter, Year to date, each shows only entries in that period.
- Custom range, pick your own start and end dates. You can set either the start or the end first.
Filter by other fields
- Use any combination of the remaining sections, they all work together:
- Status, Posted, Draft, or Void.
- Source, check one or more journal sources (Manual, Payment, Invoice, and so on).
- Fund Type, Operating, Trust Rent, Trust Deposit, or Reserve.
- Account, search and select one or more accounts; only entries touching those accounts show.
- Reconciled, Any, Yes, or No.
- Created By, select one or more team members; only entries they created show.
- The list updates automatically as you apply each filter, and stays filtered as you scroll to load more entries.
Clear your filters
- Click Clear at the top of the panel to reset everything back to the default (All dates, no other filters).
