I edited fees and the billing day / payment terms changed to something I didn't set. Is that still happening? No, that bug is fixed. Opening Edit Fees now always shows the real, currently stored billing day and payment terms - including "Due on receipt" when payment terms are set to 0 days. If you still see this, it may be a different issue; report it with the unit and lease details.
How do I set payment terms to "due on receipt"? Set Payment terms to 0 days. The Review card and the field itself display it as "Due on receipt" rather than "0 days." This value is preserved correctly now when you reopen Edit Fees - it will not revert to 15 days.
Can I add a resident while setting up condo fees, without leaving the drawer? Yes. On the Owner step, click Add resident. The add-resident form opens in place, already scoped to the right unit and property. Once you save, the new person is automatically selected as Owner.
Why can't I pick a Dependent as the Owner? Dependents can never hold a unit's primary billing account. They're excluded from the Owner picker everywhere in this flow, matching the rule enforced everywhere else in URBI (billing account assignment, lease creation).
What happens if I change fees but not the Owner? Only your fee changes are saved. The Owner is left completely untouched - the app doesn't compare or "fix" the owner in the background, it only acts when you've actually changed the picker.
What happens if changing the Owner during Edit Fees fails partway through? Your fee changes (billing day, payment terms, etc.) are saved regardless - they are never lost. If the owner reassignment itself fails, you'll see a banner: "Fees saved, but updating the owner failed. Retry the owner change." Click Retry owner change to try again - this only retries the owner part, it does not resave the fee fields.
Does the retry button resave my fee changes too? No. Retry only re-runs the owner-reassignment step. Your fee fields were already saved successfully in the first step and are not touched again.
Can I save fee changes on a unit that has no Owner assigned at all? Yes. If a unit has no resolvable owner (nothing recorded and no primary billing account), you can leave Owner blank and save fee changes normally. No error is forced.
Where does the Owner shown on reopen come from? It's seeded from the lease's own stored record first. If that's empty, it falls back to the unit's primary billing account holder. Either way, what you see reflects the true current owner, not a stale value.
If someone with a pending invite is picked as Owner and later completes signup, does anything break? No. When their invite converts to a real account, the lease's owner reference is automatically updated to point at their new user account - you don't need to reassign anything.
