Cheque Printing, Overview

URBI can print cheques for your expense and reimbursement payments directly from your browser, one cheque per 8.5×11 page, aligned to your own cheque stock. You calibrate the printable fields once, save the layout as a profile, and reuse it across your properties.

Cheque printing is available on KORE and PREMIUM plans with accounting enabled. It is a staff/property-manager feature.

What it does

• Prints a cheque per page on standard US Letter cheque stock, with a matching remittance advice stub (business copy + payee copy) so a vendor or government office can reconcile the payment on their side.
• Field calibration lets you position each field (payee, date, amount, amount-in-words, memo, cheque number, payer address, signature line) to match your pre-printed cheques, by dragging on a preview or nudging exact X/Y millimetre values.
• Company profiles: a calibration profile belongs to your management company. Calibrate once, then apply it to one property or to all of your accounting-eligible properties.
• Rich remittance: the stub can include the vendor's legal name, address, account number and tax number, the PO and invoice numbers, description, GL account, and the subtotal/tax/total.

What it does NOT do

• It does not move money or change any accounting record. Printing (and reprinting) is display-only, no journal entry, no status change.
• It does not assign cheque numbers automatically. The number printed comes from the payment's reference; a reprint reuses the same number.

• Calibration: Property Settings → Accounting → the Cheque Printing card → Manage (opens the Accounting Settings drawer on the Cheque Printing tab).
