When a condo unit's lease is ended - whether through Transfer Ownership or by editing the lease's end date directly - its condo fee schedule is automatically wound down and the last billing period is prorated to the actual move-out date. This applies the same way regardless of which of those two places you set the end date from.
If the current billing period hasn't been billed yet, the schedule is flagged to bill only the prorated (smaller) amount for the days the owner actually occupied the unit, and then stops.
If the current period has already been billed:
Once the move-out is processed, the condo fee's billing schedule is deactivated - it won't generate any further charges. This happens immediately, regardless of which of the reduction paths above applied.
If that was the unit's only active fee schedule, the unit's Next Charge tile reverts to showing no amount and no date, confirming there's nothing further scheduled to bill.
