Before you collect a cent, URBI shows you exactly what the departing party owes. You don't have to add it up yourself or go check individual invoices first.

The Resolve outstanding balance card breaks it down into two kinds of lines:

  • Outstanding invoices - bills that have already gone out and still have a balance on them.
  • Not yet invoiced - charges that exist on the account but haven't been billed yet.

Everything is added up into a Total at the bottom. That total is the number you'll actually collect. It's read live from the server, not calculated on your screen, so it reflects the real, current state of the account.

A couple of things worth knowing about this preview:

  • It always covers the departing account, plus anyone else on the household list you've ticked as also leaving. If you tick someone else in, their outstanding amounts get folded into the same total.
  • If the account (or the group, once you've ticked others in) is actually owed money rather than owing it, you won't be able to record a settlement payment for it that way. Property staff would need to resolve that credit separately, for example with a refund, before the transfer can move forward.
  • The preview updates if the household list changes, so what you see reflects who's currently ticked.

Once the total looks right, a Record settlement payment button appears so you can take the payment against it.
