I selected Delete, but nothing was removed

Meaning: URBI found something that makes deletion unsafe. The draft and every related record remain unchanged.

Fix: Read the message and resolve the named issue before trying again.

The message says a payment has already been recorded

Meaning: Money is already connected to the draft or its related record.

Fix: Do not delete the draft. Review the payment and use the appropriate accounting process to correct it.

The message says it is matched to a bank transaction

Meaning: The draft is connected to a bank transaction.

Fix: Unmatch the bank transaction first, then try deleting the draft again.

The message says another journal entry is already attached

Meaning: The related expense, invoice, or vendor bill has another entry attached to it.

Fix: Do not delete the draft until you have reviewed the other entry and resolved the connection.

I cannot see Delete or Delete draft

Meaning: Only draft entries can be deleted, and the option is shown only to people with permission to delete general ledger entries.

Fix: Confirm that the entry is still a draft. If it is, ask someone who manages access to review your general ledger delete permission.
