You can see accounting figures without having permission to open General Ledger detail. When your organization has not given you General Ledger permission, selectable ledger details and drill down actions are hidden.
Ask your property manager or the person who manages staff access for General Ledger permission. They can update your access if it is appropriate for your role.
An empty journal entry panel is not an error message. It means there are no journal entry details available to show for the selected item or filter. Check that you selected a specific property and the intended date range or account, then try another available transaction.
Only eligible account amounts on accrual-basis Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance reports open General Ledger detail. Totals, variances, forecast figures, comparison figures, and cash-basis report amounts do not open transactions.
Cash basis reports show this message: Amounts are not clickable on a cash-basis report. The General Ledger is accrual-only, so there is no matching ledger view to open.
