Check the payout file in bank file history. Delivered means National Bank accepted the file. Sent means URBI sent it and has not received an answer yet, it is not a rejection. If National Bank rejects the file, URBI allows one rebuild after the issue is corrected.
A payout is held when it cannot safely be sent, for example because bank details are missing, the payout rail is off, or the amount needs a second authorized person to release it. Open the payout to see the reason, correct it, then release it if you have permission.
URBI automatically unwinds the original transaction and records the return. A returned bill payment makes the bill owed again. A returned reimbursement goes back to waiting for payment. A returned refund makes the amount owed again. For bank reasons that indicate incorrect details, URBI asks the payee to update them through a secure link. If the bank returns a payment because the account is closed, URBI also switches off that payee's saved bank details and holds any other payouts already queued to them, so a new payment is not sent to the same closed account. Adding new, valid bank details releases the held payouts.
Yes, while it is queued or held. A sent payout cannot be cancelled from the queue. Start the stop payment or correction process from its record instead.
No. Direct Deposit payouts send Canadian dollars only. A bill in another currency is set aside before anything is paid, with the reason shown on screen. Record the payment outside URBI instead, or correct the bill's currency if it was entered by mistake.
Canadian bank accounts can be up to 12 digits in URBI, matching what National Bank's payout file accepts. A longer number is refused at entry rather than accepted and then never sent. US accounts can be up to 17 digits.
