Collections and Payouts move money through a National Bank account, so URBI needs that account's institution, transit and account numbers before either can be set up. This is a one-time step per account.
Who can do this: People whose payments permission has not been turned off for the property. Anyone else does not see the Add bank numbers button.
Enter the transit and account numbers from the account's void cheque or online banking, then click Save.
The numbers are stored encrypted. Afterwards, URBI only shows the account ending in its last four digits - staff never see the full account number again. If you need to correct the numbers later, enter new ones the same way; the new numbers replace what is on file.
Once a National Bank account has its numbers on file, it becomes available to pick when setting up Collections or Payouts.
